Ratings System
HD: High Distinction
Movies with an HD are brilliant movies which use the medium of film in
new and exciting ways.
D: Distinction
D movies are really good movies, that are interesting and somehow
novel
in their approach to their subject matter.
CR: Credit
A CR rating means that the movie is enjoyable with good performances.
P: Pass
Getting a P suggests that a movie just did the minimal amount to
entertain.
Lots of things could have been done better.
CP: Conceded Pass
If the movie is at least trying, perhaps by covering a difficult
topic,
but fails miserably to hold one's attention then it gets a CP.
F: Fail
Thinking seriously about leaving during the movie generally means an
F.
It didn't even try.
It just regurgitated the same old
stuff without doing it a fraction as well as has been done before.
